Terms of service.

General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all offers, services, and products provided or arranged by YumiGo and Bee-Yond, regardless of the distribution channel. They govern the contractual relationship between YumiGo and natural or legal persons who use the services (hereinafter referred to as “Customer”).

2. Subject of the Contract
YumiGo offers exclusive food tours in which customers visit various restaurants and enjoy culinary services. The exact services and conditions are specified in the respective offer description. The tours may be carried out in cooperation with partner businesses (e.g., bars, restaurants).
Services exceeding the booked offer (e.g., additional drinks or food) are not included in the price and must be paid directly by the customer at the restaurant.

3. Booking and Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of offers on the website or in other media does not constitute a binding offer. A contract is only concluded upon booking confirmation by YumiGo.
The customer is obliged to provide truthful information during the booking, in particular regarding number of participants, food intolerances, and special requests. YumiGo assumes no responsibility for incorrect information.

4. Prices and Payment Terms
The participation fee must be paid in advance to YumiGo.
The booking becomes binding upon receipt of payment and confirmation by YumiGo. Without full payment, there is no entitlement to participate. All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory VAT.

5. Vouchers
Vouchers are valid for two years from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Cash redemption is excluded. The resale of vouchers is not permitted.

6. Conditions of Participation
Participation in experience tours is at the customer’s own risk. Customers must ensure they arrive on time and meet the necessary health and personal requirements. In case of delay, there is no guarantee that the tour can be fully completed, and the entitlement expires. No refund claim exists in such cases.
The customer undertakes to behave respectfully during the tour. The customer is personally liable for any damage caused.
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform YumiGo in advance about allergies or intolerances.
YumiGo is only liable in cases of gross negligence or intent.

7. Changes to Services
YumiGo reserves the right to change restaurants or individual program elements at short notice for organizational or operational reasons, provided that the overall character of the booked tour is not significantly affected.

8. Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellation is free of charge up to 72 hours before the start of the tour. After that, YumiGo charges as follows: up to 48 hours before the tour: 50% of the total price; thereafter: 100% of the total price. Refunds are issued in the form of a voucher and processed promptly after cancellation. Alternative dates may be offered, but there is no entitlement to a specific date.

9. Withdrawal and Cancellation by YumiGo
YumiGo is entitled to cancel a tour up to 24 hours in advance in case of insufficient participants or unforeseen circumstances. Exceptions include cancellations due to force majeure, official orders, or illness of service providers.
In such cases, the customer will receive a full refund of the paid price. Any further claims, in particular for damages or reimbursement of expenses, are excluded.

10. Liability
Bee-Yond is only liable for intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
The respective restaurant is solely responsible for the quality of services provided (food, drinks, service). Claims due to defects must be made directly against the restaurant.
YumiGo is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by customers (e.g., allergies or food intolerances).
Insurance coverage is the responsibility of the customer. YumiGo is not liable for accidents or similar incidents occurring during the tour. The customer bears the risk at all times.

11. Data Protection
YumiGo processes customers’ personal data exclusively for marketing purposes and for the execution of food tours and shares such data only with participating restaurants. Further information can be found in YumiGo’s privacy policy.

12. Final Provisions
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Schwyz. Should any provision of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
